Mia Rene Gage was crowned as the Queen of 88th East Texas Yamboree on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 by Presided by 88th East Texas Yamboree President Dr. Adam McDaniel. The Queen is the daughter of Richard and Janice Gage. She graced the stage with a beautiful off white gown bedazzled in crystals. The letter “G” is emblezoned on her maroon train with gold leaf border and animal print trim.Her court colors are off white and maroon. Mia is representing the 20th Century Club.
The Queen’s coronation is one of the highlights the Yamboree festival which continues through Saturday night. A second Queen’s coronation performance will take place Thursday night.
The formal presentation of the Queen’s court also featured the 87th Yamboree Queen Katie Ella Henson. She was escorted by the 2024 Yamboree President, Brett Williams. Princess Livi Brown, Duchess representing the Kiwanis Club was also presented along with the other ladies in waiting, their escorts, visiting duchesses, and children attendants to the Queen. New this year are the representatives of the different courts. The Court of Radiance, Knowledge, Harmony, Courage,Hope and Compassion.
