Santa Claus Parade
Monday December 1st 6:45pm SHARP. Parade entry forms are available at the Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce. Please return forms to the chamber office by November 24th. Floats to be judged will line up at 5:15pm on Madison St. for judging. All other entrants line up @ 6:15pm. There will be ONLY ONE SANTA IN THE PARADE AND HE IS PROVIDED BY THE GILMER AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and the YULEFEST COMMITTEE. DO NOT HAVE A SANTA IN /ON YOUR FLOAT/GROUP. No objects may be thrown during the parade including candy.

Contests
Judging of Decorated Homes and Businesses
Saturday, December 6th
Lights must be turned on by 6pm. Decorations should be permanent displays for the entire holiday season. Awards will be made in the following categories; Most Lights, Best Religious Theme, Best Speciality Theme and Most Colorful. No money prized are awarded.
Businesses
Businesses will be judged on overall display and window treatments.There will be a sign placed at the business announcing the award. No money will be awarded.
Gingerbread House Contest
Entries are to be taken to Gilmer Drug between 3 and 5pm on Friday December 5th. $1.00 Entry fee. Winners will be displayed with all other entries ecember 6th - 13th. You may pick up your entry before 12:30pm on Saturday , December 13th. Cash awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and third in both adult and youth divisions.
